In this chapter, Sabia awakens in the orc camp to find everybody upset over the sudden disappearance of Chief Groknak. After squeezing some information out of Tekrok and Vehlis (which requires humiliating herself before some of Tekrok's warriors), she sets out to investigate Groknak's route, assisted by Kia and Neve - and discovers some pretty alarming evidence at the site of the probable .
