淋しい一人暮らしの生活を送る敏世。唯一の楽しみは孫の和夫の顔を見ることだった。だが和夫を見る敏世の視線は孫を見守るおばあちゃんではなく、女のものだった。和夫は亡き夫と瓜二つ。夫と死別してから男日照りの日々が続く敏世は和夫に在りし日の夫の面影を見ていた。和夫を見るたびに湧き上がるもう一度夫に抱かれたいという思い。そしてある日、ついに敏世の思いは溢れ出す。「お願いだよ和夫。爺さんの事思い出させてくれないか？」
